The RIH Orthopaedic Foundation (RIHOF) was established as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in 1998 to provide educational and research opportunities for the Brown University Orthopedic Residency Program. Through the addition of an A2LA ISO 17025 mechanical testing laboratory accreditation (Cert. # 2278.01) in the early 2000s, RIHOF expanded its mission to support the research and development efforts of medical device manufacturers and orthopedic researchers. Currently, RIHOF seeks to leverage its unique position between the academic and industrial sectors of the orthopedic space to foster collaboration between medical professionals, orthopedic researchers, and device manufacturers. With a diverse suite of services and over two decades of experience, RIHOF is committed to providing innovative solutions, delivering quality results, and advancing the field of orthopedics.
