Mission

The overarching mission of the RIH Orthopaedic Foundation is to provide opportunities for orthopedic research and education for medical professionals at every level. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and an A2LA ISO 17025 accredited mechanical testing laboratory (Cert. # 2278.01), RIHOF supports the following initiatives:

Investigator Initiated Research

Investigative studies conducted by attending surgeons and orthopedic fellows that are performed independently or jointly with an industry sponsor.

Resident Research Projects

Research projects lead by 4th year orthopedic residents which are overseen by an attending surgeon and approved by the Resident Research Committee.

Anatomy Conference and Intern Bootcamp

Informal cadaveric training labs meant to assist first and second year orthopedic residents with the development of general surgical skills.
