The RIH Orthopaedic Foundation (RIHOF) was established as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in 1998. Its overarching mission is to provide educational and research opportunities for the interns, residents, and fellows participating in the Brown University Orthopedic Residency Program. In the early 2000s, RIHOF added an A2LA ISO 17025 mechanical testing laboratory accreditation (Cert. # 2278.01) and expanded its mission to support the greater orthopedic community. Currently, RIHOF leverages its unique position between the academic and industrial sectors to foster collaboration between medical professionals, biomechanical researchers, and medical device manufacturers. With over two decades of experience, RIHOF is committed to providing innovative solutions, delivering quality results, and advancing the field of orthopedics.
