David Paller, M.S., M.B.A.

David acts as a project consultant for the RIH Orthopaedic Foundation. With nearly a decade of experience within the medical device consulting environment, David assists teams on a wide range of areas. His expertise areas encompass device development, regulatory, market definition and strategy.

David is also senior research faculty at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University in the field of Orthopaedics with the goal of providing solutions to current clinical problems in the field of medicine. His research remains wide-ranging from biomechanics to patient treatment interventions. He has presented his research at numerous national conferences and peer reviewed journals and actively mentors residents and medical students in their research pursuits. He holds an undergraduate and graduate degree from the University of Vermont where he studied biomedical engineering and a Master’s in Business Administration from the Yale School of Management.

The bioskills suite located within our lab can accommodate large surgeon education and sales training labs with two fluoroscopes, two necropsy tables, and four complete arthroscopic stations.


We have assisted more than 100 companies with their FDA submittals on over 500 medical devices and have worked with R&D departments designing specialized, non-standard test designs.


We assist companies with complete planning of their test programs so that all FDA, EU Medical Device Directive, and other regulatory requirements will be addressed.
